look at the work of Carl-Antonyn Dufault look at the way he displays his night and day shots as a way of moving your project forward. Could you start to mount different part so of the picture? The circle could come out of the image and maybe could turn or move? Look at the sculptural work of Richard Wilson turning the place over.

New images need to be taken of the city scape try different points along the Thames as well as over view you could start to focus on individual buildings that could be shown in an abstract style with the dark skies behind them. Look at the video black out city for further ideas. travel around showing different parts of the city and flung them into darkness like in the video.

Same location in the day and the night.
Upload all work shot so far contact sheets and edits
1) you need to take more care with your framing and composition make sure that you think about what you are cropping in and out the angle you are taking the photograph from. This particular theme it would be good to see the building you are photographing face on and not from tight angles that show things like cars.
You must go out and take some night shots of the same location at night make sure to use a tripod and capture the feeling of night.

Develop the night photography theme further and look at the work of the listed artists below Giles Coulon, Andreus Lever and Harlan Erskine, William Eckersley. Consider photographing more isolated location around London at night and focus on the work of Eckersley and the idea that the city changes at night when the people leave. Focus on colour and mood within the images when they are captured at night. Car parks, under bridges, the South bank, shops at night when they are closed such as retail parks etc
